2012/2013
The rules are as follows:
1. Classroom Rules
a. Treat others as you want to be treated.
b. Respect school property and property of others.
c. Raise hand and wait to be called on.
d. Keep hands and feet to self.
e. Follow all classroom procedures.
2. Give Me “5”: Listen, hands free, fold hands, eyes on speaker, and no talking.
a. Be respectful when the teacher or others are talking.
b. Stay in your seat and give the teacher your attention when she/he is talking.
3. FANS LINE: Line procedures: Face forward, Arms bys side, No talking, and Single file.
a. students will follow line procedures in the classroom, and throughout the school.
4. Homework
a. Must be turned in when due.
Discipline System
Students pull cards for not following class and/or school rules.
Students pull cards for not following class and/or school rules.
Pull 1 card - Warning
Pull 2 cards - No talking at lunch
Pull 3 cards - Note home in agenda
Pull 4 cards - Write up on classroom management sheet
They will also sign the Oops! Binder
Consequences (Weekly)
Pull 0 cards - Good Conduct
Pull 1 to 5 cards - Satisfactory Conduct
Pull 6 to 8 cards - Needs Improvement
Pull 9 or more cards- Unsatisfactory Conduct
** After four write-ups on the classroom management profile, the student will be sent to the office.**
Reward System
Students receive tickets for good behavior.
Students will also receive tickets for good behavior. They will accumulate these for completing homework, attending school, doing the right thing and numerous of other events. Students will keep these tickets in a pencil pouch in their binder. They will have the opportunity to turn them in for a prize or keep them each wee until they redeem them. This will help teach them responsibility and reward good behavior.
